Highcliffe Castle

Bournemouth beach is absolutely beautiful, but for me one of the most perfect stretches of beach is just a little further round. Past Mudeford beach is Highcliffe Castle. Highcliffe Castle is a building situated on top of a cliff further back from the beach. Its a beautiful old stately home that's positioned in enchanting gardens. There's car park spaces provided which you can use before you embark on the coastal path that leads straight down to the golden sandy beach.

The Beach itself is breathtaking. Its a lot quieter than Bournemouth as people don't tend to walk round so far. If you walk in either directions you soon come across cafes for refreshment, or you can walk back up to the castle and have one there. This stretch of beach is so peaceful and lovely, that its definitely one of my all time favourites.
